Convert PDF to Word

Converting to Word is the most practical way to fix text in a PDF, reuse it as a template or copy a section. Quillo reads the text, font sizes, bold and italics, tables and images in the PDF and builds a DOCX file as close to the page layout as possible.

The same screen offers Excel (XLSX): tables in the PDF are split into cells and moved into a spreadsheet. You can also export plain text (TXT).

Conversion runs in your browser. Scanned (image-only) PDFs have no text, so the Word output may be empty; for those, text recognition with Quillo Ai is available with a free account.

Questions

Is the converted Word file editable?
Yes. Text arrives as real Word text and edits in Word, Google Docs, Pages and LibreOffice.
Do scanned PDFs work?
Scanned pages have no selectable text. For those, use Quillo Ai text recognition with a free account.
Are tables kept?
Yes, tables become Word tables. If you want to calculate, use the Excel (XLSX) option.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Processing happens in your browser, on your own device; your files are never sent to Quillo servers or anywhere else. Nothing is left behind when you close the page.
Can I convert Word back to PDF?
