Convert a Word document to PDF

Application forms, CVs and official letters are often requested as PDF. Word to PDF converts your DOCX or ODT document in the browser, so it works on a phone, a tablet or a computer without Word.

Headings, paragraphs, lists, bold and italic text, tables and images carry over. EPUB e-books and plain text files convert the same way.

Conversion happens on your device and the document is uploaded nowhere. Very complex layouts (multi-column newsletters, special fonts) may look slightly different from Word.

Questions

I don't have Word, can I still convert?
Yes. Conversion runs in your browser; you don't need Word or any other software.
Is formatting kept?
Headings, paragraphs, lists, bold/italic, tables and images carry over. Very special layouts may differ slightly.
Do old .doc files work?
The old .doc format isn't supported. Open it in Word or Google Docs, save as DOCX, then convert.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Processing happens in your browser, on your own device; your files are never sent to Quillo servers or anywhere else. Nothing is left behind when you close the page.
Can I combine several Word files into one PDF?
Yes. Add the Word files to Merge PDF; they're converted and merged into one file.

Your files are processed in your browser and never sent to our servers.
